Home Counties League
We are pleased to announce that Peter French (Stony Stratford) has come forward to represent Bucks as its representative on the HCL. He will formally be taking up his post in March 2026 and will become HCL President in 2027. The Men's Home Counties League matches are now under the leadership of Derek Plater - please refer to the diary for dates/venues of matches and contact Derek direct if you are interested in playing.

Matches 2026
New for 2026 - Match applications All matches can now be applied for via the Bucks Portal. Whether its inter-county friendlies, Middleton Cup, Balcomb, Johns Trophy, Walker Cup - they can all be found on the portal and you are encouraged to apply for them.

Competition entries close 27th February
Entries for the national championships and internal county competitions close on 27th February. Entries should be made via your clubs, who have a list of all the competitions available to enter.

Les Richardson
Les’s funeral will take place on Tuesday 17 th February at 10.30am at Watermead Crematorium, Watermead, Aylesbury HP19 0FU and afterwards at Aylesbury Town BC. Family flowers only but a collection will be made after the service. Dress code is county uniform or smart attire. Please contact the club direct on atbc.sec@outlook.com if you are intending to attend the wake, so that they can get an idea of numbers for catering.

Competition Rules update
Updated regulations regarding competitions have been uploaded. To make it easier to find the rules for a particular county competition, they have been separated out into individual buttons, rather than having to look through the entire Regulation 127 to find it. The competition rules for 2026 can be found at the bottom of the drop-down menu under "Competitions" .

Challenge Pairs (new for 2026)
The rules for the new Challenge Pairs competition are now available 3 Challenge Pairs 3.1 Competition is open to any individuals who are members of a BBA club who have not reached at county semi final in either singles, two wood, pairs, triples or fours, during the last 5 years, or reached Leamington in one of the BE Competitions i.e Senior singles, Senior pairs, Champion of Champions etc during the same period, but excluding junior competitions, Middleton Cup, John’s Trophy
